These chapters were very important. Establishing your rules and procedures can make or break you as a classroom teacher. Your students need to know the first day of school you mean business. Children need to know what happens if they do not behave. If you do not have a plan then your students will pick up on it and use that against you. As a teacher we can be firm and loving at the same time;)
